Description

These crispy, gooey homemade organic mozzarella sticks are the perfect healthier snack or appetizer.   • Pinch of sea salt

  • Organic avocado oil spray (for baking or air frying)


Instructions

  1. Freeze the cheese: Cut organic mozzarella into sticks (approx. 3″ long). Place on parchment and freeze for at least 30 minutes.

  2. Set up breading stations:

    • Bowl 1: flour + salt

    • Bowl 2: beaten eggs

    • Bowl 3: breadcrumbs + garlic powder + Italian seasoning

  3. Bread each stick: Coat cheese in flour, dip in egg, then roll in breadcrumbs. For extra crispiness, repeat the egg and breadcrumb steps.

  4. Air Fry or Bake:

    • Air Fryer: Preheat to 375°F. Spray sticks with avocado oil and cook for 7–8 minutes.

    • Oven: Preheat to 400°F. Bake for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  5. Serve hot: Enjoy with organic marinara or ranch for dipping.

Notes

  • Cheese Choice Matters: For the best melt and stretch, use low-moisture, whole milk organic mozzarella rather than fresh mozzarella, which may release too much water during cooking.
